Andrew Kowal

Andrew is a Partner with Francisco Partners and focuses primarily on investments in the communications, systems, and infrastructure sectors. 

Prior to joining Francisco Partners in 2001, Andrew was a member of Princes Gate Investors, the private equity arm of the Institutional Securities Division of Morgan Stanley, where he was responsible for the identification, evaluation, and execution of private equity transactions in a variety of industries, including information technology. 

Andrew serves on the board of directors of Ichor Systems, iconectiv, Optanix, Sandvine, and Shoregroup. He previously served on the board of directors of ADERANT, Corsair, MagnaChip, Metrologic Instruments, Mitel Networks, and Source Photonics.

 

Lyndon Cantor

Prior to joining Sandvine, Lyn most recently served as President of Tektronix Communications (a Danaher Company) during which he helped lead and grow the business to the #1 leadership position (42% share) in a $1.3B segment. While at Tektronix, Lyn’s scope was full P&L accountability of the multi-national business with over $460M in revenue, 27% operating profit, and 1,300+ associates.

Over the course of his 30-year career, Lyn has accumulated a broad executive leadership background in the Telecom, Enterprise, and Information Technology software industries ranging from Fortune 200 and Mid-Cap ($1B+) companies (including Visual Network Systems, Inet Technologies, QMS / Minolta and C.Itoh Electronics) as well as experience taking a private company through a very successful IPO and ultimately to a market leadership position.

In addition to his earlier career learnings, Lyn’s eight years of service in Danaher and exposure to their DBS methodology provides a great set of experiences using specific and relevant lean tools and techniques to help sustainably drive growth, improve business processes, strengthen product reliability and internal operations.

 

Manuel Rivelo

Manny brings more than 30 years of tech expertise to the table and is responsible for the company’s overall strategy and operations. Prior to AppViewX, he held key leadership roles as CEO at F5 Networks and SVP at Cisco Systems.

He is a natural problem-solver and is hands-on when it comes to tackling complex business opportunities. He has successfully applied technology at a practical level to drive profitable growth, innovation, productivity, and operational excellence. In the past, he has been responsible for launching and driving new market adjacencies, strategy, product management, marketing, and business and corporate development.

Manny has been a director of Apollo Education Group since March 2009 and is a member of the Compensation Committee. He holds a Bachelor and Master degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.

 

Dave Stevens

Dave has been an investor, entrepreneur, and operating executive in the technology industry for more than 25 years. Dave was a co-founder of Palo Alto Networks, Inc. in 2005 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until 2008. In that role, he developed the foundational vision and market entry strategy for the company’s transformative technology. Dave also served as a Venture Partner at Foundation Capital where he was responsible for investments in the communications, computing, storage, and wireless sectors.

Most recently, he was the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Corporate Development for Brocade, where he led the company’s technology strategy, key business initiatives, M&A and investment portfolio as it focused on the evolving data center infrastructure within enterprises, cloud service providers, and federal markets. Dave holds a BS, Electrical Engineering and MS, Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.

 

Vincent J. Molinaro

Vince is a resilient leader with 30+ years of operational experience and is motivated by challenging the status quo, articulating a destination that most think impossible and executes by leveraging the power of an entire organization. 

He is an investor in Talentsky and an Advisor to several mid-market company CEOs.  Vince completed a decade of transformational leadership at Juniper Networks as Chief Customer Officer in February 2019. He was responsible for driving the strategic and operational elements of the Sales, Marketing, Partners, Services, and Support functions at Juniper Networks. 

He led a global organization of more than 3,500 professionals that included direct and indirect sales, systems engineering, advanced technologies, and field operations, and profitably grew the business through $5B in 2017. Prior to joining Juniper, Vince held senior leadership positions at a number of technology companies, including Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent, and Internap Network Services.

He has extensive domestic and international experience having lived and managed large organizations throughout Europe and the U.S. Vince holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Bridgeport. He and his family call New Jersey home.

 

Bhaskar Gorti

Bhaskar is a visionary technology business leader with deep experience in building and leading technology companies as well as increasing shareholder value.

Prior to joining the Sandvine’s board, he served as Nokia’s Chief Digital Officer and President of the Software business unit overseeing the development of a strong software business at scale, managing a $3B P&L and leading an organization of 15,000 people responsible for building cloud-native, multi-vendor, and multi-network software solutions.

Bhaskar has held several senior leadership positions at technology companies including Alcatel-Lucent, Oracle, Portal Software, Hewlett Packard, Alcoa and Wipro Systems. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (India) and a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Bhaskar currently lives in the San Jose, California.
