Deployments span 11 countries and includes analytics, revenue generation, and revenue assurance solutions
San Jose, Calif., 6 February, 2019 – Sandvine, a leading provider of Network Intelligence solutions, further validated its use case-based strategy by delivering $12M in new orders during the second half of 2018 to a Tier 1 mobile operator group. The orders are related to a network expansion and the deployment of multiple use case modules across 11 Latin American countries. The operator group has added these new capabilities to fuel growth, gain network and customer insights, and deploy more profitable services utilizing Sandvine solutions for network and customer experience analytics, new service creation, and fraud prevention.
“Tier 1 mobile operators need to operate analytics-driven networks in order to build the foundation for the coming wave of automation,” said Lyn Cantor, President and CEO of Sandvine. “Our Active Network Intelligence solutions are resonating with operators globally delivering faster return-on-investment through superior solution breadth and use case depth for multiple departments within a network operator.”
The operator group is addressing a broad array of issues with these solutions, which are being deployed as multiple, high value, unique sets of use cases from three of our solution areas:
Analytics: Performance and Operational Monitoring, Service and Subscriber Monitoring, Capacity Planning Analysis, and User Behavior and Demographic Analysis use cases, all delivering key insights into network and subscriber behavior
Revenue Generation: Zero-rating and Application-based Plans, Advanced Data Services, and Advanced Roaming Services use cases, creating service differentiation and generating additional revenue
Revenue Assurance: Data Revenue Leakage Monitoring and Data Fraud Management use cases, ensuring accurate revenue recognition for delivered services
Sandvine’s solutions are uniquely capable of delivering these use cases in highly scalable and complex environments, in form-factors aligned with the operator’s time frame for migration to NFV and 5G. As this large multi-country operator is focused on changing the economic model to keep up with traffic growth and gain efficiencies, Sandvine enables them to deliver high quality services to end subscribers while minimizing their CAPEX and OPEX.
