Fremont, Calif., September 10, 2014 — Procera Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PKT), the global Subscriber Experience company, today announced that president and CEO, James Brear, will be honored as a Legend of Silicon Valley at Frost & Sullivan’s “GIL 2014 Silicon Valley: The Global Community of Growth, Innovation and Leadership” that will be held September 15-17 at The Fairmont in San Jose, Calif.
Having served as Procera’s president, CEO and director since 2008, Brear was chosen for his vision and leadership in driving social and business innovation in Silicon Valley and around the world. He is a San Francisco Bay Area native who graduated from University of California, Berkeley, and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization.
At the GIL 2014: Silicon Valley “Legends of Silicon Valley” forum, Brear will participate in a provocative and inspiring discussion with innovators and technologists from the nation's leading organizations who will share the keys to their success as well as their insights regarding the future trends in business and societal change. Following the discussion, Brear will be formally inducted as a “Legend” during the event’s concluding annual awards ceremony.
