Sandvine Awarded $4.5 Million Expansion Order By Tier-1 MSO
Company adds 44 new customers for the year
Waterloo, ON; December 6 , 2011 –Sandvine, (TSX:SVC; AIM:SAND) a leading provider of intelligent broadband network solutions, announced today that it has won an expansion order for US$4.5 million, with a tier-one North American MSO. Sandvine also announced that it added seven new customers during the fourth quarter of 2011, for a total of 44 new customers in fiscal 2011 – 18 more than it won in 2010.
The expansion order includes the purchase of Sandvine’s Network Policy Control system, including the Policy Traffic Switch (PTS), and the Network Analytics business intelligence product with its patent-pending Real-Time Entertainment Dashboard.

The implementation of Sandvine’s Network Analytics business intelligence product in this MSO’s network, will enable the operator to make critical business decisions by analyzing network data presented in a series of intuitive dashboards. The dashboard library includes the recently announced Real-Time Entertainment Dashboard, which provides operators with particular insight into streaming audio and video traffic, with measurements such as quality, duration, and associated over-the-top revenue.
