This position is for a Technical Product Owner role to manage a set of 'use cases' within the Sandvine Active Network Intelligence (ANI) portfolio. Sandvine’s solution produces very rich and accurate data which feeds valuable use cases for analytics, network optimization, revenue generation, and revenue assurance. The use cases come to life in our new ANI Portal. The underlying implementation spans the solution architecture and this role is responsible for making sure the intended use case vision comes to light when the various architecture pieces come together as a solution.
The role is a mixture of a technical leader with familiarity in the telecom space and one or more access technologies (mobile, fixed, cable, satellite), along with facilitation and program management skills. The candidate will work with the Marketing and Product Management organizations up front to understand and influence the use case vision and requirements. They will develop an understanding of how the use case functionality and outcomes create customer value and solve customer problems. They will then work with the various scrum teams, product owners, and architects on an end-to-end plan for the work. As the work progresses, the candidate will ensure all parts are moving and will lead resolution of issues between teams and functions.
A key component of the role is to ensure that the use case works in a customer environment and to get quality feedback from customer users. The candidate will build and manage a lead customer engagement plan with the support of scrum teams and the field deployment teams. They will help gather customer feedback and take any quality or implementation issues back to the scrum teams for rapid resolution.
In short, the role is accountable to ensure that we build great use cases as seen through the eyes of the customer! The candidate will need to learn specific use cases and will need strong foundational skills in telco software at a system level.
