The Opportunity 

As Project Manager, Customer Success you will work with the Customer Success Delivery team to manage and track cost, schedule, scope and technical performance of the projects, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the Delivery program. The incumbent for this position evangelizes and ensures adherence to quality standards, milestones and project deliverables in compliance with the Delivery stage gate and governance processes. 

The Job

  • Lead multiple hardware deployment and software implementation projects that are complex in nature, involving for example, a disparate multi-disciplinary team, up to $10M+, 6-18+ months duration
  • Drive the end-to-end cooperation on project between sales, customer, partners and teammates
  • Act as mediator to achieve win-win scenarios across various stakeholders 
  • Regularly capture, analyze and communicate project- and program-level status, performance and financial metrics
  • Lead a post-mortem process for each project to ensure lessons learned are well communicated and incorporated into processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What Skills You Bring

  • Hands-on experience with ERP for Project Management and dashboards desirable (i.e., Salesforce, SAP Project Systems / PPM)
  • Proven expertise in leading complex technical projects through all the process areas while effectively managing cross-functional and multi-cultural teams across multiple geographies
  • Capable of generating, analyzing and communicating a meaningful project status and summary report (including scope, cost, schedule, quality) and metrics (i.e., CPI, SPI, EV, ES) at each gate to various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated knowledge in quantitative risk analysis and process, out of bounds and change control board process, communication strategies, and estimating
  • Very familiar with hardware/software installation and integration, software testing best practices and terminology 
  • Extremely well versed in project management standards, methodologies, and best practices and feels comfortable in teaching and mentoring others
  • Excellent written and presentation skills to senior and executive management
  • Execution and results orientation who effectively rallies the team around a common business goal, creates a sense of urgency, builds an agreed-upon plan and then drives results 
  • Well-developed influencing, problem-solving, collaboration and organizational skills
  • 7-10 years in the industry and similar role of progressive project management experience and responsibility
  • PMP certification required
  • Technical background with an understanding of networking (specifically IP related technologies)
  • Experience with the installation, configuration, and/or operation of network equipment such as Cisco, Juniper or other network hardware manufacturers
