The Opportunity

As a member of Analytics & Cloud Solutions software development team, you will be responsible for architecture, design, development, & delivery of public cloud (AWS) products predictably on-time with quality. You will have a direct hand in bringing these cloud ready products to the market and contributing to the success of our Analytics & Cloud business.

The Job

  • As an experienced AWS enterprise architect, you will be working with software development teams to build cloud ready and cloud native products
  • Enable public cloud (AWS) journey for Sandvine products, gather requirements, design, and deliver public cloud ready products that are easy manageable, highly performant, scalable, & fault tolerant
  • Create and implement unified strategy for public cloud deployment of Sandvine products – data governance, automation, security, and health monitoring
  • Enable deployment of Sandvine products in customer public clouds - assess customer cloud maturity, review existing AWS cloud implementations, identify gaps and suggest improvements to seamless deploy Sandvine products
  • Design, prototype and deliver cloud agnostic microservices architecture for cloud native products
  • Create thought leadership on AWS solutions and hybrid clouds
  • You will work as an integral member of a self-directed Agile development team employing a Scrum-based methodology
  • Continuous improvement is part of our DNA, you are encouraged to find new ways to do things that will continuously improve daily work
  • Stay current on AWS and public/private cloud technologies

What Skills you bring

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
  • 10+ years of software development, out of which 3+ years in AWS public cloud architecture, design, and development
  • Hands on experience with AWS technologies is a must
  • Expertise in one of the columnar cloud database technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Vertica
  • AWS certification
  • Self-motivated and able to deliver on commitments on-time all the time with quality
  • Proactive & willing to take challenging technical initiatives that may be completely new
  • Able to work independently as well as within a geographically distributed agile development team
  • Ability to troubleshoot and quickly resolve problems
  • Excellent Written and verbal communications skills are important
