Sr. Revenue Analyst

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Revenue Analyst within the Sandvine finance team. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining the Company’s revenue transaction and reporting requirements. You will own accountability in forecasting, accounting, and processing of this function including monthly and quarterly reporting.

The Job
  • Participates in accounting close activities which include deal reviews, preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
  • Prepare BESP and VSOE studies and quarterly revenue allocation schedules and other revenue related schedules
  • Prepare internal revenue reports for distribution to the CEO, CFO and sales organization
  • Assist with quarterly and annual reporting requirements, while coordinating reviews with other departments, external auditors and outside legal counsel
  • Assist with the annual audit including the coordination and preparation of associated audit schedules
  • Develop and streamline processes using system automation and tools to maximize efficiency and accuracy of revenue accounting systems and processes
  • Prepare review and analysis of financial results
  • Perform research and resolution of technical accounting issues
  • Assist with updates to accounting policies. Be integral part of ASC606 assessment and implementation
What skills you bring
  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of similar experience. Previous experience with a software company is highly desirable
  • Revenue recognition subject matter expert. Working knowledge of ASC 605-25 “Revenue Recognition Multiple-Element Arrangements”, ASC 985-605 “Software Revenue Recognition”
  • Understanding of ASC 606 is highly desirable
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Excel superuser
