The Opportunity 
In your role as UX Architect, you will be responsible for understanding and helping to improve the overall experience of new Sandvine users.  You will work directly with key stakeholders and customers to elaborate new concepts and designs for user experiences, and propose information architectures to meet technical, business, experience and usability goals for both service providers and enterprise customers. You will convey the design to cross-functional teams including product managers, product marketing, and engineers. You will provide overall thought leadership in user experience and interaction design.

The Job
• Drive new user-centered and converged design strategy for the new Sandvine keeping in mind existing workflows of incumbent customers from previous companies.
• Engage with customers, product management, and engineering to gather UX requirements and feedback
• Convert concepts and ideas into rough mockups, wireframes, and clickable prototypes
• Gather quantitative and qualitative data through research methods such as usability testing, user interviews, and surveys to identify user pain points
• Effectively communicate design solutions to all levels of the organization including product management, engineering, and executive teams
• Build and maintain UX pattern and component library

What skills you bring
• Minimum of 5+ years experience as a UX professional
• Experience developing simple UX solutions for complex flows involving large amounts of data
• Strong web and mobile solution design experience
• Possess strong analytical skills to synthesize findings and translate them into actionable insights and user experience artifacts.
• Skilled at managing input from internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with user research to guide and inform design processes
• Experience working with agile development teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Highly creative and strong concept/idea generation skills
• Communication industry experience is a plus
