For the first time last week Procera participated in the largest and most important Telecommunications event in Latin America, Futurecom 2014, which brought together CEOs from companies such as Telecom Italia, Telefonica, Claro, ETB Colombia and more than 14,600 attendees in four days of lectures and trade-show in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
From a dense agenda encompassing small cells to regulatory issues, topics such as Innovation, Big Data, QoE, IoT and Virtualization of Network Functions clearly stood out in discussion panels and attracted a lot of attention from participants. All in an exhibition area of about 22,000 sqm.
Amongst the largest operators of Brazil, technology partners and other worldwide giants of the telecom industry, we were showcasing vanguard solutions that effectively help broadband service providers address many of the concerns surrounding their new challenges. Maybe this was why, not by coincidence, PacketLogic/V, Customer Care Insights and RAN Perspectives ended up receiving special attention from journalists covering the event.
With about 278 million mobile lines in service and such a large territory, competition is intensifying every day. The mantra for carriers in Brazil could only include watchwords such as service differentiation, increased customer loyalty and churn reduction, which are all lined up with the key values and core benefits Packetlogic solutions can deliver.
While 2014 is the landmark for us in Brazil, I am pretty sure 2015 will project Procera as the true leader in Subscriber Experience solutions and will speed us up into some great growth opportunities. Stay tuned!
