Openet is delighted to announce it has partnered with Procera to launch Revenue Express, the industry’s first end-to-end turnkey Policy Control and Charging (PCC) solution that includes Procera’s Intelligent Policy Enforcement and analytics coupled with Openet’s Policy Management functionality for mobile operators.
We worked closely with Procera in developing the joint solution offering a suite of market-tested, network ready services. By pre-packaging our Openet Express solutions with Procera’s policy enforcement products, mobile operators can take full advantage of the best of breed, granular and scalable policy enforcement solutions available today.
For the first time, tier 2 and tier 3 operators will be able to avail themselves of a complete suite of policy based solutions. Our new offering has de-risked the decisioning for operators, allowing them to quickly launch new data service offerings to drive data usage.
One of several options available, for example, offers a Service Pass for customers who have exhausted their existing data limit, such as 500 MB of extra data usage for a number of days at a small additional fee. In this case, providing subscribers with simple transparent data purchase options that they understand not only reduces customer service calls and costs, but also encourages them to experiment with data usage, creating new customer segments that often choose to purchase additional data.
